In a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500, you can locate the fuel pump relay by looking on the right side of the engine compartment and near the battery terminals on the driver's side of the car. It is positioned between the air filter assembly and the battery, towards the lower side of the fuse panel. To remove it, you will need either a fuse removal tool or a flat head screwdriver. If replacing the fuel pump relay doesn't solve the issue, you may need to check the MFI relay, which can also affect the fuel pump's power delivery. Prices for a new fuel pump relay can range from $5 to $20, depending on the brand and quality.
In a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500, you can find the fuel pump relay in the engine fuse/relay box located just behind the battery. Simply turn over the panel box and refer to the diagram inside. The relay is identified as a prominent blue 20 amp mega/box fuse.
