On a Chevy Cruze, the power steering pump can be found on the driver or passenger side of the engine bay. The pump is located near a clear plastic jug, which holds the power steering fluid. To change the fluid, start by locating the jug under the hood, near the window. Make sure it's clear plastic. Using a pump, remove all the fluid from the container. As the fluid level decreases, turn the steering wheel all the way to one side and then to the other to drain the fluid from the system into the container. Once the jug is empty, refill it to the full line, avoiding overfilling. It may take some time for the steering wheel to become smooth again, so drive for around 20 minutes to ensure the process was successful.
