In the 2014 Chevy Silverado, the location of the jack varies depending on the cab size. For regular cab models, you can find the jack behind the passenger seat. However, in Double or Crew cab models, the jack is situated behind the passenger side of the rear seat on a shelf. Keep in mind that the tire changing tools are secured using wing nuts, so rotate them counterclockwise to release them. To remove the jack head from the holder, turn the jack knob counterclockwise. Remember, this jack is solely meant for changing a flat tire and should never be used for working beneath the truck, as it could fall and cause severe, potentially fatal injuries. Utilize the jack handle to lower the spare tire by inserting the open end into the hole in the rear bumper and turning it counterclockwise as needed.
