To locate the traction control button in the 2004 Chevrolet Avalanche, look to the left of the steering wheel on the dashboard close to the gauges. Typically, you want to have this feature activated to help prevent your vehicle from losing traction and spinning out if your wheels slip. However, if you find yourself stuck in mud or snow, it's better to deactivate it so that your engine's power is not restricted, allowing you to free yourself. If the button malfunctions, expect service expenses to replace it to be approximately $100, on average.
