The 2002 Ford F-250 diesel truck doesn't have a typical cabin air filter like one made of paper. Instead, it has a mesh that screens all the air entering the HVAC system. While this mesh does a superior job at safeguarding the A/C components compared to a regular filter, it isn't as effective in blocking dust and allergens from entering your vehicle. To maintain optimal performance, I suggest inspecting the mesh twice a year to ensure it's free of debris. Accumulated debris can significantly hinder airflow and cause the A/C system to operate inadequately.
The cabin air filter for the 2002 Ford F-250 diesel can be found behind the glovebox or beneath it near the firewall at the back of the evaporator case.
I don't think cabin air filters were introduced until after the year 2010.
