The MAP or barometric pressure sensor of the Chevy Cruze can be found at the back of the intake manifold, situated below the throttle body. Take a look under the hood towards the center of the engine bay, where you'll spot the Cruze's engine. Positioned behind the engine is a long metal structure below a smaller metal component connected to tubing - this is the intake manifold, and the sensor is installed at the rear of this unit. On the left side, near the engine, you'll see the black air filter box of the Cruze. The MAF or mass air flow sensor is located here, attached where a large tube enters the engine. The MAF is responsible for measuring the air temperature before it enters the combustion chamber.
The barometric pressure sensor, commonly referred to as the baro sensor, is located near the back of the engine in close proximity to the intake manifold.
