The 2016 Ford Transit-150 has a unique battery location compared to most vehicles. Instead of finding the battery under the hood, like in many other cars, the Transit's battery is actually located under the driver's seat. In case you need to jumpstart the car, you can access the battery jump box on the driver's side under the hood without having to reach the actual battery. To locate the battery, you will need to go to the driver's side, move the seat all the way back, open the plastic screw drivers on each side of the seat, remove the rail stop bolts using a T40 torxBit, raise the armrest, slide the seat forward, lift the fabric, take off the rear battery cover, detach the electrical cords, remove the bar, the panel, and then the cover.
