The 2015 Honda Civic's engine block heater is installed in the engine bay between the airbox and the engine. The heater's wires are usually passed through the passenger side of the intercooler and out the front of the grille for connecting. While not all Honda Civics come with a block heater, you can buy OEM kits for installation. These heaters are commonly used in cold climates where extremely low temperatures can make starting the vehicle challenging or stress the engine. By plugging in the block heater a few hours before starting the car, drivers can warm up the engine and its fluids, leading to a smoother ride and potentially extending the vehicle's lifespan in harsh weather conditions.

The heater core in the 2015 Honda Civic is situated beneath the dashboard, close to the driver's side steering wheel.
