In the 2005 Ford F-150, the body control module is located underneath the main fuse panel under the hood near the firewall. The BCM is responsible for managing all the additional features of your truck. If you are experiencing issues with these features, it's advisable to inspect the system. Typically, the BCM oversees functions like windows, door locks, and the alarm. If you notice multiple malfunctions in these areas, it could indicate a faulty BCM. First, I recommend checking the fuse to ensure it has not blown. If the fuse is intact, then examine the wiring to confirm it's securely connected.
The 2005 Ford body control module can be found on the left B-pillar in regular cab trucks and on the left rear wall in supercab and crew cab models.
