In the 2010 Ford Focus, the horn relay is in charge of operating the horn. To fix or diagnose a horn that's not working properly, you can find the relay under the hood in the engine bay. The fuse box is located by the driver's side firewall near the battery and is a black plastic container. You can open the fuse box to see a diagram of the fuses and relays on the underside of the lid. The horn relay will be labeled as "R2". To test it, carefully remove it from its slot and replace it with a new one in the "R2" spot. Warning signs that the horn relay may be failing include the horn not working, a burning smell coming from under the hood, or hearing clicking noises when you press the hood release button.
Where exactly is the horn situated? Not over there.
The fuse controlling the horn in your 2010 Ford Focus can be found either under the hood or underneath the dashboard close to the steering wheel.
