The 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 has its idle air control valve located on the right side of the throttle body under the throttle position sensor. This valve is designed to control and keep the engine idle speed steady. A malfunctioning valve can lead to erratic idle speeds, such as excessively high or low speeds, or a fluctuating idle speed that rises and falls repeatedly. The engine may even shut off while running, and in severe cases, it may fail to idle altogether and stall immediately upon starting.
Could someone display a photo of it?
In a 2007 Dodge Ram 1500, the idle air control valve can be found close to the throttle body of the intake manifold.
That's not true, I have a GPA of 3.7 and there aren't any valves on the right side.
