The knock sensors on a 2013 Chevy Camaro can be found on the lower left and right sides of the engine block. To locate them, start by entering the vehicle and pressing the hood release button. After that, go outside, lift the hood, and release the safety latch. Get a flashlight to shine on the engine block. If you can't see the sensors from the top, try looking from the side to find them at the bottom of the engine block.
Which part of the engine block is it located on?
The knock sensor of the 2013 Chevrolet Camaro is positioned on the side of the motor block.
The 2015 Camaro V6 has its knock sensors situated beneath the exhaust manifold on each side of the engine. Many mistakenly believe they are under the intake manifold, as claimed by auto parts stores and YouTube. I found out the tough way. Moreover, the connectors for the knock sensors are exposed to high temperatures, causing them to become fragile - surprisingly, the connectors are pricier than the sensors themselves.
