If you have a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado and need to find the OBD fuse, it's a straightforward process. Begin by opening the hood of your truck. Then, check the engine bay on the driver's side near the power steering column for a component referred to as a field box. Open the lid of this box to access fuses, switches, and relays. The lid should have a chart with codes or numbers corresponding to each fuse or switch. Simply match the number on the lid to the fuse inside to locate the OBD fuse easily.
Hey, I don't spot a label saying obd2 on the location diagram. Is there a different name or abbreviation for that fuse?
It is the blue 15-amp cigarette lighter fuse.
The obd fuse can be found in the field box on the right side of the engine bay, near the power steering compartment.
