The 2006 Ford Escape oxygen sensor can be found in the exhaust system. The spark plugs should be changed at around 100,000 miles, unless they are copper, in which case they should be replaced every 30,000 miles. Your air filter should be swapped out every 15,000 to 30,000 miles, while the coolant should be changed every 60,000 miles. Various engine issues may arise, such as a loose gasket needing tightening, a spark plug coming loose and causing problems, and the potential for engine overheating, which could result in fires or even the vehicle exploding. Excessive oil consumption may necessitate earlier oil changes, and any oil leaks should be addressed promptly.

In a Ford Escape, oxygen sensors are situated in the exhaust flow. Usually, one is placed before the catalytic converter, while the other is positioned near the exhaust manifold.
