On the 2017 Ford Explorer, you won't find a physical button to turn on the heated steering wheel. Instead, you'll have to use the touchscreen display. First, insert the key and start your vehicle. Once the touchscreen is on, locate the Climate icon and tap it. Look for the "Heated Steering Wheel" option in the top left corner of the screen. Press that button to activate the heating function for your steering wheel.
To activate the heated steering wheel in a 2017 Ford Explorer, simply touch the climate icon on the touchscreen and select the option for heated steering wheel.
Press the button on your dashboard and it will illuminate in red.
