To change the cabin air filter on a 2002 Ford F-250, find it behind the glove box. Remove the outer part of the glove box using a screwdriver. Open the box first and locate the 2 screws on each lower side to unscrew. Once removed, that section should pop off. On the left inside, you will see the cabin air filter. Replacement filters for this model cost between $15 and $30. Remember to replace the filter every 30,000 miles or 4 years, whichever comes first.
The cabin air filter on a 2001 Ford F250 Super Duty can be found under the black cowling on the right side of the vehicle, where the passenger sits.
