The fuel filter in a 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe is integrated with the sending unit assembly inside the tank and cannot be replaced separately. If the filter becomes blocked, the entire pump assembly must be replaced. The process involves removing the spare tire, draining the gas tank, and disconnecting the negative battery terminal. A jack capable of supporting and lowering the tank is needed. Two straps secure the tank and must be taken off. Lower the tank gradually after removing the straps. Disconnect the electrical connections, lower the tank completely, and access the top of the tank. Disconnect the fuel line and unplug the electrical connector from the pump. Remove the pump by loosening the bolts on top. Reversing these steps will allow you to install the new pump.
The fuel filter location on a 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe can be located on the right side of the vehicle's frame rail near the rear torsion bar mount.
