In the 2003 Volkswagen Jetta, the fuel pump relay is located in the main fuse box at the front of the engine bay. To access it, start by opening the hood of your car and securing it with the prop arm. The fuse box is a black container along the front of the battery. Inside, you'll see various fuses and switches. Refer to the sticker with the codes to identify the fuel pump relay number. If you need to replace the fuse, expect to spend between $24 and $54 for a new one.
In these cars, you won't find a relay panel under the hood. Instead, you'll locate it to the left of the steering column, hidden beneath the plastic body panel and the metal panel right behind it.
In the 2003 Volkswagen Jetta TDI, the fuel pump relay can be found in the primary fuse box under the car's hood.
