Can you tell me where to find the fuse box in a 2006 Ford Escape?

To access the fuse box in your car, locate the small seam or crack on the left side of the dashboard next to the steering wheel. Use a screwdriver or prybar to gently open this panel. Inside, you'll find a number of fuses. Check the back of the panel for a diagram that indicates the purpose of each fuse. If not there, refer to the vehicle's owner's manual. Identify the fuse you need to replace by looking for a thin strip of metal connecting the two raised sections of the fuse. If the strip is broken, the fuse is faulty and should be swapped out with a new one, which typically costs around $10. If the strip is intact, the fuse is still functional and can be reinserted.
