The fuse for the ABS system on a 2000 Ford F-150 can be found in the fuse panel inside the passenger compartment. This panel is situated below and to the left of the steering wheel, right above the brake pedal. The specific location of the fuse is in slot 15, and it is a A5-amp MINI blade style fuse. While it serves the ABS system, it also safeguards the stop lamp switch, speed control, brake shift interlock, GEM module, and RABS test connector. To take out the fuse, place your fingers on the indentation of the fuse box panel and pull it out. While using a fuse puller makes it easier, you can still remove it with just your fingers by exerting a firm pinch between your thumb and index finger.
The ABS fuse for the 2000 F-150 can be found in the power distribution box situated under the hood of the vehicle.
Where can I find the fuse for the brake lights in a 2000 Ford F-150? If the fuse is not the issue, what else should I inspect since I have no brake lights but all other lights are working fine? Does anyone know what I should check for if it's not the fuse? Thank you.
