The 2011 Kia Sportage Map Sensor can be found on the left rear side of the throttle body. Removing and replacing it is a straightforward process: simply unscrew the two bolts holding it to the intake manifold and disconnect the wiring harness pigtail. You can buy a new Duralas MAP Sensor, part number SU13349, from Autozone for around $83. Common signs of a faulty map sensor are decreased fuel efficiency, reduced power, emissions test failure, difficulty starting, sluggish acceleration, and the illumination of the check engine light with a powertrain code related to the sensor issue.
