The 2007 Cadillac DTS neutral safety switch can be found on the left side of the transmission. This switch is designed to ensure that your engine starts only when the automatic transmission is in Park or Neutral. When you turn the ignition key and the transmission is in Park, the car should activate the starter. If the vehicle doesn't start under these conditions, it could be due to a faulty neutral safety switch in the transmission. On the flip side, if the car starts in Park but not in Neutral, it may be because the switch is malfunctioning and activating only in one gear and not the other.
The neutral safety switch for a 2007 Cadillac DTS can be found on the transmission bell housing.
