On the 2007 Toyota Yaris, there are two oxygen sensors. One, the upstream O2 sensor, measures the air-to-fuel ratio and is located closer to the engine. The other, a downstream sensor, measures leftover oxygen after the catalytic converter and is positioned on the exhaust pipe, closer to the rear of the Yaris than the converter. Although both are relatively easy to replace, having a mechanic do it can be expensive. While you can find the parts for as low as $20 for the downstream sensor and $150 for the upstream sensor, repair shops typically charge between $200 and $450. If you feel capable, I suggest watching a tutorial on YouTube to save some money.
The oxygen sensors on a 2007 Toyota Yaris can be found both before (upstream) and after (downstream) the catalytic converter.
