In a 2016 Honda Pilot, the starter is situated on the front of the engine on the driver's side, positioned under the radiator hoses. To access it, you will need to remove the airbox and the battery. The starter is fastened with two bolts, each with 10mm by 1.25mm pitch threads - one measuring 110mm and the other 45mm. They feature a 14mm hex head, requiring a matching socket, a ratchet, and possibly a long extension. Position the long bolt into the lower hole and the shorter one in the top hole. The battery cable connection to the starter includes an 8mm nut to be unscrewed and an electrical connector that needs to be disconnected.
