In a 2006 Buick Lucerne, you can find the trunk release button near the driver's footwell on the left side of the dashboard under the steering wheel. Pressing this button will open the trunk. Alternatively, you can open the trunk using the button on your key fob. If the trunk doesn't open, it may indicate a problem with the lock actuator or a misalignment of the latch. If the trunk still doesn't open, there is a manual release inside the trunk accessible through the pass-through in the back seats of the vehicle.
The one near your feet is for the hood, and the button to open the trunk is located on the left side of the glove compartment when you open it.
The trunk release button for the 2006 Buick Lucerne can be found close to where the driver's feet are placed.
I just stepped out to the 2006 Buick Lucerne and found it right there in the left side of the glove box.
Hold down the button to unlock the door for a few seconds, and the trunk will spring open.
None of this proved to be of any assistance whatsoever.
The document is fully stored in the glove compartment on the driver's side. The latch to open the hood is located in the left side foot area of the driver.
Thanks a lot! It's right there in the glove compartment!
The trunk release in my 2006 Buick Lucerne is not under the steering wheel like some cars. Instead, you'll find it inside the glove box.
