The valet override feature for the 2001 Dodge Durango is located in the glove compartment. This button allows the owner to temporarily turn off the alarm system. To activate or deactivate valet mode, you can do so by disarming the system with a functional transmitter, your unique manual code, or by following this step: press both the lock and trunk buttons simultaneously for half a second. This action will take the system out of valet mode. Some remote starter systems may also have a switch to activate valet mode.
