In 2013, the Volkswagen Tourareg came with a 3.6L V6 engine as standard, but there was also the option for a 3.0L V6 Diesel engine. Both engines require synthetic 5W-40 or 5W-30 motor oil and have an oil capacity just over 7 US quarts. The oil drain plug for these cars is 17mm in size, and it needs to be removed using 22 ft-lbs of torque. If you choose to have the oil changed at a shop, it will cost you between $120 and $150.
