The recommended power steering fluid for the 2007 Ford Fusion is the O'Reilly power steering fluid. To change the fluid, start by locating the clear plastic container under the hood near the window. Use a pump to extract all the fluid from the container. As the fluid level decreases, turn the steering wheel all the way to one side, then to the other side to drain the fluid in the wheel into the container. Empty the container completely. Once it's dry, refill it up to the full line, avoiding overfilling. Give it some time for the steering wheel to loosen up by driving for about 20 minutes to ensure the process was successful.
