In 2016 Chevy Traverse, the USB port isn't functioning because of a faulty fuse. To access the fuse box under the car's hood, first, raise the hood and secure it in place. On the right side of the engine compartment, locate a black box which can be opened by separating the seam. Inside, you'll find the fuse. The back of the box's lid should have a diagram indicating the purpose of each fuse. If not, refer to the car's owner's manual. Identify the fuse you need and remove it - if the thin metal strip connecting the two sections is broken, the fuse needs to be replaced. A new fuse typically costs around $10.
If the USB port in the 2016 Chevy Traverse is not functioning properly, it could be due to a fault in the connection plate, which is prone to easy damage, or a lack of power supply to the USB.
