To reset the oil life indicator on your 2017 Toyota RAV4, begin by starting the engine and pressing the disp or trip button until your dashboard displays "trip A." After reaching that point, turn the ignition to the lock position without starting the engine. Hold down the trip button while turning the key to the OFF position. Then, return the key to the lock position and release the button. The indicator should now show 0 miles, and you can resume using your vehicle normally.
To reset the oil light in your Toyota Highlander, follow these steps: Turn the ignition switch to the "on" position without starting the engine. If your car has a push-button start, press the "start" button without pressing the brake pedal. Briefly press the odometer knob until you see "trip a" displayed. Next, turn off the ignition and hold down the reset trip odometer button while switching the ignition back to the "on" position. Continue holding the reset trip odometer button until the indicator reads "000000" miles and the maintenance light shuts off.
The responses given before are incorrect. To adjust the maintenance schedule, go to the vehicle settings on the display in the dashboard cluster.
