Replacing the cabin air filter in a 2011 Ford Ranger is a simple task that can be easily accomplished. To begin, acquire a new filter along with pry tools and screwdrivers. Start by lowering the glove box and removing the side arms that secure it in place, causing the box to hang down vertically. Next, take out the rear panel of the compartment to access the slot containing the old filter. Slide out the old filter, replace it with a new one, and close everything back up in the opposite order.
You are unable to have no filter.
