The trunk and cargo space in the 2013 GMC Acadia measures 24.1 cubic feet with the seats up and 116.1 cubic feet with the seats folded down. There is a small opening in the vehicle floor that can be lifted up to reveal a compartment where the seats can be folded into when not in use. To fold the seats, simply pull the lever on the side of the seats to release them, push them down into the compartment, and secure them in place until you hear a clicking sound indicating they are locked. Reversing this process to raise the seats back up should only take a minute or two to complete.
