The Subaru Forester is equipped with a 14-inch steering wheel. To take it off, ensure the wheel is straight and disconnect the negative battery cable. Wait for at least two minutes for the electricity to discharge. Use a hook pick to access the three holes beneath the steering wheel and release the clips securing the horn cover. Disconnect the electrical connections and take off the horn cover. Use a 17mm socket to loosen the center nut. Pull the steering wheel towards you, gently wiggling it to release. Be careful to guide the wiring through the designated hole to prevent damage. Once the wires are clear, remove the steering wheel entirely.
The 2019 Subaru Forester has a steering wheel with a diameter of 14 1/2 inches and a grip circumference of 4 1/4 inches.
