The 2008 Ford Fusion comes with a 32mm hex head axle nut. To take off the axle nut, start by lifting the car with a jack, positioning it correctly based on the wheel you're working on. Place a jack stand under the frame and secure the rear wheels to prevent the vehicle from rolling back. Use a lug nut wrench or a 19mm socket to remove the lug nuts from the wheel and move the tire aside. Next, remove the caliper, caliper bracket, and rotor. You'll need a 14mm socket to detach the caliper from the bracket, which is secured by two 15mm hex head bolts. After removing the bracket, unscrew the two T40 Torx head screws on the front of the rotor and take it off. Finally, use a 32mm socket to loosen and remove the axle nut.
The size of the front axle nut for the 2008 Ford Fusion is 32 millimeters.
