My 2016 Mazda 3, which was built in Mexico, has a thread size of 20 x 2.5 millimeters. Both the front and rear holes can accommodate a tap with a size of 20 x 2.5 millimeters. The front hole is recessed by approximately 6.5 inches, while the rear holes have a recessed depth of about 3 inches.
