The 2018 Hyundai Elantra's trunk button is positioned on the left side of the steering wheel or on the left side of the dashboard. To open the trunk, simply open your vehicle, locate the button under the left air vent, and press it. When you press the button, you'll hear the trunk release. Then, head to the trunk area and lift the trunk door up to access it.

In the Hyundai Santa Fe from 2018, you can find the trunk release button at the bottom of the dashboard.

There is no trunk button on the dashboard or lower part of the dashboard. My only way to open the trunk is through the key fob.
