The 2017 Cadillac Escalade's cabin air filter should be changed every 2 years or 22,500 miles, whichever occurs first. It's now classified as a non-user-serviceable component, so a dealership is technically required for maintenance. However, there are ways to go about this that can save you a significant amount of money in the long term. Dealer service estimates hover at around $200, but some drivers have reported quotes reaching as high as $375 – quite pricey for a cabin air filter, in my opinion. If you wish to access the cabin air filter on your own, it can be found behind the glove box, in line with the HVAC system. Removing the entire glove box and releasing a metal clip on the right side will open the filter door.
