In your 2014 Honda Accord Sport, you can find the starter under the hood near the top of the engine, secured by three bolts close to the firewall. If you notice a screeching noise when attempting to start your vehicle, it might be due to a faulty starter. You can confirm this by turning on your headlights to shine on a wall and observing your dashboard while turning the key. If the lights don't dim and you hear a whirring sound, it is likely the starter. On the other hand, if you hear clicking sounds without the whirring noise, the issue could be with the solenoid or the battery. To replace the starter, you simply need to remove the three bolts, disconnect the starter wires, and then remove it from the vehicle.
The ignition system for the Honda Accord is situated within the car's engine compartment, right in the center underneath the hood.
