The 2018 Ford Focus offers heated front seats as an option, but only on the higher trim levels. If the seats are not heating up, it could be due to a faulty heater element or a blown fuse. To access the fuse box, located to the left of the steering wheel, look for a small seam or crack along the dash which you can open using a screwdriver or prybar. Inside, you'll find a collection of fuses. Check the back of the panel you opened for a diagram that explains the purpose of each fuse. If the diagram isn't there, you can refer to the vehicle's owner's manual. Once you determine the faulty fuse, pull it out - look for a thin strip of metal connecting the two raised sections of the fuse, which should be intact for the fuse to be functional. If the strip is broken, replace the fuse with a new one, costing around $10.
Certainly! The 2018 Ford Focus offers heated front seats as an option, but they are not included in the base model S. However, the SE and SEL trims provide heated front seats as part of the Cold Weather Package, which also features heated mirrors and a leather-wrapped heated steering wheel. The fully loaded Titanium trim comes with heated front seats as a standard feature.
Not required, but accessible.
