The 2015 GMC Sierra's taillight assembly has a total of four bulbs. The bulb farthest from the center is for the sidemarker lamp and requires a 194 bulb. The parking brake and turn signal bulbs, using a 7444 type, are located at the top and bottom. The central bulb is for the reverse light and uses a 1156. To replace the bulbs, you will need a T-15 torxBit socket along with a ratchet or hand driver. Lower the tailgate and remove the two screws situated above and below the tailgate cable. Once the screws are out, carefully detach the taillight assembly from the truck. Twist the bulb socket counterclockwise to release them from the assembly. Then simply pull out the bulbs from the socket.
The bulb size for the taillight of a 2015 GMC Sierra is h11.
