Your 2017 Chevrolet Cruze is equipped with two oxygen sensors - one upstream and one downstream. Many vehicles have between 2 and 5 oxygen sensors, so your car falls on the lower end of the spectrum, which means there are fewer parts to replace overall. To locate the upstream oxygen sensor (before the catalytic converter), check under the hood. You'll find the sensor situated beneath the engine on the exhaust manifold, with a wire (probably white) connecting to it. It is slightly to the right of your oil dipstick. The downstream oxygen sensor is positioned on the exhaust pipe directly behind the engine. It can usually be accessed from the top using a long extension since it faces upwards; however, most individuals opt to work from underneath the vehicle.
The oxygen sensor downstream of the engine is situated on the exhaust pipe, facing upwards towards the sky.
