Each version of the 2010 Hyundai Elantra comes equipped with an auxiliary audio input, though the location and accessibility may vary depending on the model. In the higher trim levels featuring a double-DIN head unit, the aux port is typically located on the front of the stereo. For the smaller single-DIN head unit, the auxiliary input is situated at the back of the unit. Despite its rear placement, accessing it is still possible, albeit requiring some effort to reach. Upon finding it, you will need to acquire an appropriate adapter cable, which is generally priced around $10. Once the cable is installed, there should be no need to tamper with the rear inputs again.
The 2010 Hyundai Elantra is equipped with an auxiliary input jack as standard in the GLS and SE models. In the Blue model, the auxiliary input jack is available as an add-on option in the Comfort Package.
