In 2017, the Acura MDX AWD model includes a spare tire, while the FWD version does not. FWD owners will need to buy a spare tire kit separately from Acura. For AWD drivers, the spare tire is located in the trunk under the floor panel, along with a jack, a wheel nut wrench/jack handle, and a jack handle bar. It's important to monitor the compact spare and regularly check its pressure, aiming for around 60 PSI. If you need to use it, avoid exceeding 50 mph until you can replace it.
The earlier response was wrong about the FWD 2017 RDX. Only the 2017 RDX's with AWD include a spare tire. You have the option to buy a spare tire kit directly from Acura, like I did.
The 2017 Acura RDX does indeed include a spare tire.
Every Acura RDX variant is equipped with a spare tire, unlike some car brands that have removed it to make the vehicle lighter or provide more storage space. Acura decided to keep the spare tire to ensure drivers have a viable backup option in case a tire becomes irreparable using fix-a-flat.
