Swapping out the turn signal bulb on a Chevrolet S-10 should be pretty straightforward, but the process may vary slightly depending on whether you're working on the front or rear signals. While there are differences between replacing a front bulb and a rear one, both tasks can be done quickly and easily, typically in just a few minutes. To replace a front turn signal bulb, you'll need to first remove two clips securing the assembly in place. Once these are off, you can access the inner workings of the front signals. Disconnect the electrical connector from the old bulb, twist it counterclockwise to remove it, then insert the new bulb by twisting it clockwise. Reconnect the electrical connector and then reattach the housing to complete the job.
First, loosen the headlight cover and remove it, then unscrew the old bulb. Next, take out the old bulb and replace it with a new one. Finally, reattach the cover securely by screwing it back on tightly.
