To reset the oil change indicator on your 2018 Nissan Murano, first press the "OK" button on the steering wheel. Next, navigate to the "Maintenance" menu using the Up and Down arrows. Select "Oil and Filter" and press "OK" to enter this menu. Use the arrows to choose "Reset" and confirm. Your vehicle's oil change light will then be reset. Remember to change the oil and replace the filter every 5,000 miles or six months to keep your engine clean and running smoothly. Neglecting oil changes can lead to engine issues.
Start your 2018 Nissan Murano. Press the info button to locate the maintenance setting and choose it. Navigate with the arrows to find the engine oil setting and select it. Use the arrows again to find the reset distance setting and choose it. Reset the mileage and then you can exit.
As an American, I would rephrase the instructions as follows: To start, turn the ignition key to the run position without starting the engine. If you have a smart key, you can simply press the start button twice without pressing the brake pedal. Once that's done, locate the button on the left side of the steering wheel and press it until you see the settings menu. Once you're in the settings menu, scroll down to maintenance and hit ok. From there, select oil and filter, then press ok. In this menu, you'll find the option to reset.
