To begin resetting the oil life indicator in Your Mazda6, start by sitting in the driver's seat, shutting the door, and turning the vehicle on without starting the engine. Locate the trip button on the dashboard and press and hold it. With the button held down, start the engine using your other hand. Eventually, a flashing light will appear on the dashboard to indicate that the reset process was successful. If it doesn't work on the first try, try it again.
