In the 2018 Jeep Compass, simply turn the ignition key to the "on" position.
Switch the ignition key to the on position without starting the Jeep's engine. If you have a push-button start, press the start button twice without engaging the brake pedal. Step on and release the accelerator pedal fully three times within 10 seconds. Turn the key off, then back on to verify that the oil light has been successfully reset.
