In 2008, the Toyota RAV4 offered a generous rear cargo space of up to 73 cubic feet, making it one of the biggest among vehicles in its class back then. If you choose to add the third-row seats to your RAV4, the space behind them is quite limited, enough to fit just a single row of grocery bags. However, folding down the third-row seat provides 37.2 cubic feet of cargo space. For RAV4 models without the third-row option, the space is slightly less at 36.4 cubic feet. To fold the second-row seats, you can easily do so by pulling the handles located at the back of the cargo area on both sides. This action will release and fold the seats down. You have the flexibility to fold each seat down separately or both at the same time to maximize capacity.
The 2008 Toyota RAV4 has a rear cargo area of 36.4 cubic feet, which nearly doubles to 73.0 cubic feet when the seats are folded down, providing extra storage space in the SUV.
