The cargo area on the 2011 Lexus RX has a size of 40 cubic feet with the seats up, and 80.3 cubic feet with the seats folded down. A convenient feature is a small opening in the floor of the vehicle that can be lifted up. Beneath this panel is a storage compartment where the seats can be folded into. To fold the seats down, simply locate the lever on the side of the seats and pull it. This will allow you to push the seats down into the compartment and lock them into place with a click sound. Reversing this process to bring the seats back up should only take a minute or two to complete.
