The cargo space in the 2014 Jeep Compass measures 22.7 cubic feet, reaching up to 53.6 to 62.7 cubic feet when the seats are folded down. The larger figure represents the space available with the seats down, while the smaller one pertains to when the seats are up. Beneath a removable floor panel in the vehicle, there is a compartment where the seats can be folded into. To accomplish this, you can pull a lever located on the side of the seats to lower them into the compartment, securing them in place with a clicking sound. Reversing this process to raise the seats back up should only take about a minute or two to complete.
